BUST’s first Spring Fling Craftacular came complete with ’90s jamz (yes, with a z), a photobooth, 50 indie vendors, booze and some super tasty polish food. It didn’t seem anywhere near as busy as the holiday Craftaculars of the past couple of years, but it still looked like there was a great turnout (made me sad to not be a vendor this time around! ahhhh the day job.)
This spring marked Craftacular’s return to the Warsaw and I was there this time to represent CraftStylish and spread the word of their new website by manning the booth all evening. We were across from Janome (who was hosting a corsage make-and-take), and next to the photobooth, so we got to see the photographic shennanigans as they took place all day.
During most of the event, my tooshie was planted behind the Craft Stylish booth, but I was able to quickly run out and get some “sex change” soap from Be Jessie, a candle from Qassa, a necklace from Treehouse Brooklyn, and another necklace from Brookadelphia.
I wasn’t able to run around and take any good pictures, but I was able to help out with a video for the CraftStylish website, which you can view here. You can see me and Jessie Beyland of BeJessie (yes, I’m wearing a coat. It’s STILL chilly here.)
Threadbangers also did a recap of the show here, but it’s super short. Although, it does include a short tutorial on sewing on vinyl, which is pretty cool.
